Your data
Delete my data
You can delete everything Reunily keeps about you, at any time, without asking us. Here is how, and what happens.
In the app: Delete All My Data
- Open Reunily on your iPhone or Android phone and go to Settings.
- Under Privacy, tap Delete All My Data.
- Confirm. Deletion starts right away.
This deletes, from our servers:
- every photo you uploaded (your photos and the photos of your loved ones),
- every portrait we stored for you,
- your portrait history, credit history and support context,
- your Reunily account, including the link to Sign in with Apple or Sign in with Google (we revoke the Apple link with Apple and delete the stored Google user identifier),
- your notification token.
Before you delete: save any portraits you want to keep to your phone’s photo library. Portraits saved there are on your phone and are not affected. Unused credits in your balance are lost when you delete your data and cannot be restored, and deleting data does not cancel an active monthly plan. Cancel it first in Apple’s subscription settings or in Google Play › Payments & subscriptions.
Deleting the app from your iPhone or Android phone does not delete anything from our servers. Use Delete All My Data first.
Delete one portrait
In Memories, open the portrait, then tap Delete in the menu. This removes the portrait and the photos used to make it from our servers.
What is deleted automatically
Photos you upload are deleted from our servers 30 days after upload, even if you do nothing. Finished portraits stay until you delete them, so you can download them again on your devices.
By e-mail
If you no longer have the app, write to turhan@teddyapplabs.com with the subject “Delete my data”. So we can find your data, include one of these:
- your Reunily ID, shown in Settings in the app, or
- the e-mail address of the Apple ID you used with Sign in with Apple, which may be a private relay address ending in privaterelay.appleid.com, or
- the order ID from an Apple receipt or a Google Play order for a Reunily purchase.
We may ask you to confirm the request from the same address. We delete the data and reply to confirm within 30 days, usually much sooner.
What we have to keep
- Purchase records. Apple and Google Play keep their own records of your purchases, and we keep a record of transactions for as long as tax and accounting law requires. These records contain no photos.
- Crash reports and product analytics do not contain photos and expire on their own. See the retention table in the privacy policy.
- Backups. Deleted data can remain in encrypted database backups for up to 30 days before it is gone for good.
