Terms of Use

1. Agreement

These Terms of Use are an agreement between you and Teddy App Labs, LLC (“we”, “us”) for the Reunily app (“Reunily: Add Person to Photo”) and this website. By using Reunily you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, please don’t use Reunily.

You must be at least 13 years old to use Reunily. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use it only with the permission of a parent or guardian, who accepts these terms for you.

2. What Reunily is

Reunily uses AI image models to add a person or pet from your photos into another photo you choose, optionally in an artistic style. Every portrait is a new, AI-generated image. It is not a photograph of a real moment, and it may not be a perfect likeness.

Please don’t present a portrait as an authentic, unedited photo where that could mislead someone about real events, for example as evidence, in news, or in official documents.

3. Your photos and portraits

You keep all rights you have in the photos you upload and in the portraits you create. To run Reunily, you give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, process and transmit your photos and portraits, including to the service providers named in our Privacy Policy, only as needed to create, store and deliver your portraits and to support you. This license ends when the content is deleted, except for copies we must keep by law.

We don’t use your photos or portraits to train AI models, and we don’t use them in our marketing without your written permission.

4. Content rules

You may only upload photos that you own or have the right to use, and you are responsible for them. When you upload a photo of a living person, make sure you have their permission where the law requires it. You must not use Reunily to create, upload or share:

  • any sexual or sexually suggestive content, or nudity;
  • any content involving a minor in a sexual, violent, abusive or degrading context, which we report to the authorities where the law requires;
  • violent, gory, hateful, harassing or threatening content;
  • content that shows a real person in a way they would reasonably object to, or that impersonates, defames or deceives, including fake evidence and political disinformation;
  • content that infringes someone else’s copyright, privacy or other rights;
  • anything illegal where you live.

You must also not try to get around our safety measures or the models’ safety filters, reverse engineer the app or our servers, or use automated means to access the service.

We may refuse any request, remove content and suspend access if we believe these rules are broken. The AI models also apply their own filters and may refuse a request. If a request is refused, no credit is charged. To report a portrait, use Report in the app or write to turhan@teddyapplabs.com.

5. Credits, packs and the monthly plan

Credits

Creating a portrait uses one credit from your balance and gives you two versions. Every look uses one credit. Credits are a license to use a feature of the app. They have no cash value and cannot be sold, transferred or exchanged for money, except where the law requires otherwise.

If a portrait fails because of an error on our side or at one of our providers, the credit is returned to your balance automatically. You may ask for one free retry per finished portrait through Something off?, if the likeness, placement or lighting is wrong.

Credit packs

Packs are one-time in-app purchases: 5 credits for $4.99, 15 credits for $9.99, 50 credits for $24.99, or the equivalent price in your currency shown in your app store. Pack credits never expire.

The monthly plan

  • What you get: 20 credits each month for $9.99 per month, or the equivalent price in your currency shown in your app store before you buy.
  • Payment: charged to your Apple ID on iOS or your Google Play account on Android when you confirm the purchase.
  • Automatic renewal: the plan renews automatically every month unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple ID is charged for the renewal within the 24 hours before the current period ends, at the same price unless we have told you of a change.
  • Credits: 20 credits are added at the start of each period. Credits you don’t use carry over to the next period and, like pack credits, never expire.
  • Cancelling: manage or cancel the plan in the iPhone Settings app: tap your name, then Subscriptions, then Reunily. You can also do this in the App Store app. After you cancel, the plan stays active until the end of the period you have paid for. Deleting the app does not cancel the plan.
  • Price changes: if the price changes, Apple will tell you in advance and, where required, ask for your consent before the new price applies.

Android subscriptions: your plan renews through Google Play each month until cancelled. Manage or cancel it in Google Play › Payments & subscriptions › Subscriptions › Reunily. Google Play displays the price and renewal date and handles notices about price changes. Cancellation takes effect after your paid period; deleting the app does not cancel the plan.

Moving to a new device

Your balance is linked to an app identifier. Use Sign in with Apple on iOS or Sign in with Google on Android to recover unused credits with the same account on another device. Local Memories do not transfer automatically. Used-up credit packs cannot be recovered with Restore Purchases alone; contact support with your store receipt if you need help. Deleting your data removes your balance permanently.

6. Refunds

On iOS, purchases are processed by Apple, and Apple’s terms apply to them. Refunds are handled by Apple, and we cannot issue refunds for App Store purchases ourselves. To ask for one, go to reportaproblem.apple.com. See Support for the steps. Nothing in these terms limits refund rights you have under the law of your country.

For Android purchases, Google Play’s payment and refund terms apply. Request a refund through Google Play’s refund process or contact us with your Google Play order ID.

7. Your account and devices

You don’t need an account to use Reunily. The app creates a random identifier on your device to keep your portraits and balance. Apple sign-in on iOS and Google sign-in on Android are optional. You are responsible for your devices and sign-in accounts. You can delete all your data at any time with Settings › Delete All My Data.

8. Our app and your license to use it

Reunily, including the app, the website, the looks and the design, belongs to us and our licensors. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app on compatible devices you own or control, as allowed by the applicable app store’s rules, and only under these terms. We may change, add or remove features and looks, and we don’t promise the service will always be available or free of errors.

Reunily relies on third-party services, such as the image-model providers named in our Privacy Policy. We aren’t responsible for their services, but we choose them carefully.

9. Ending the agreement

You can stop using Reunily and delete your data at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, if the law requires it, or if we stop offering Reunily. If we stop offering Reunily for reasons other than a breach of these terms, we will give you reasonable notice so you can save your portraits.

10. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

Reunily is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. AI results vary, and we don’t guarantee that a portrait will look the way you expect.

Reunily is not a grief counseling or mental health service. If you are struggling, please reach out to someone you trust or a local support service.

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of data or content. Our total liability for any claim relating to Reunily is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or US$50. Some places don’t allow these limits, so they may not apply to you, and they don’t limit liability that cannot be limited by law.

You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from content you upload or from your breach of these terms, to the extent the law allows.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state where Teddy App Labs, LLC is registered, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If you are a consumer in the EU, the UK or another country with mandatory consumer protection, you keep the protection of those laws and can bring claims in your local courts.

12. Apple App Store terms

If you got Reunily from the Apple App Store, you and we agree that:

  • These terms are between you and us only, not Apple. We, not Apple, are solely responsible for Reunily and its content.
  • Your license to use Reunily is limited to Apple-branded products you own or control, as permitted by the Usage Rules in the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions, except that the app may be used by other accounts in your Family Sharing group as those rules allow.
  • We, not Apple, are solely responsible for maintenance and support. Apple has no obligation to provide any maintenance or support for Reunily.
  • If Reunily fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price of the app, if any. To the maximum extent the law allows, Apple has no other warranty obligation for Reunily. Any other claims, losses or costs from a failure to conform to a warranty are our responsibility, to the extent these terms don’t disclaim them.
  • We, not Apple, are responsible for addressing any claims by you or a third party relating to Reunily or your use of it, including product liability claims, claims that the app fails to meet legal or regulatory requirements, and claims under consumer protection, privacy or similar laws.
  • If a third party claims that Reunily or your use of it infringes their intellectual property rights, we, not Apple, are solely responsible for the investigation, defense, settlement and discharge of that claim.
  • You confirm that you are not located in a country subject to a US Government embargo or designated as a “terrorist supporting” country, and that you are not on any US Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
  • You must comply with any third-party terms that apply when you use Reunily, such as your mobile carrier’s terms.
  • Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms. Once you accept them, Apple has the right, and is deemed to have accepted the right, to enforce these terms against you as a third-party beneficiary.

Questions, complaints or claims about Reunily go to us: Teddy App Labs, LLC, turhan@teddyapplabs.com.

13. Changes and contact

We may update these terms. We will change the date at the top and, for important changes, tell you in the app before they take effect. If you keep using Reunily after a change takes effect, the new terms apply. If you don’t agree, stop using Reunily and delete your data.
